Ekspor Minus, Pertumbuhan Ekonomi Indonesia Terus Turun

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Peneliti dari Fakultas Ekonomi Unversitas Gadjah Mada Akhmad Akbar Susamto menyatakan pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia sejak beberapa tahun lalu selalu menunjukkan tren menurun. Puncaknya, pada kuartal I 2014 lalu, pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia hanya menyentuh 5,21 persen.

“Pertumbuhan ekonomi dari 2010 sampai sekarang terus menurun. Kecenderungan perkembangan ekonomi 3 bulan terakhir dibandingkan periode sama tahun sebelumnya turun,” kata Akhmad di Jakarta, Rabu (28/5/2014).

Pertumbuhan ekonomi yang rendah, kata Akhmad, disebabkan ekspor yang mencatatkan minus. Penurunan konsumsi pemerintah memang terjadi, akan tetapi dampaknya tidak signifikan.

Pada kesempatan yang sama, Direktur Eksekutif Center of Reform on Economis (CORE) Indonesia Hendri Saparini mengatakan, dengan tren penurunan tersebut, target capaian pertumbuhan ekonomi sebesar 5,8 persen pada tahun 2014 akan sulit dicapai.  Pada kuartal I 2014 saja perekonomian Indonesia telah mengalami perlambatan.

Undang-Undang Mineral dan Batubara (UU Minerba) diakui Hendri membuat kinerja ekspor Indonesia menurun.

“Pada triwulan I 2014 laju perekonomian kita terus melambat. Dampaknya karena pemberlakukan UU Minerba itu jadi tidak mengekspor ore lagi. Target 5,8 (persen) itu akan sulit,” ujar Hendri.

Namun demikian, Hendri memprediksi pada kuartal II 2014 laju perekonomian akan lebih baik dibandingkan sebelumnya, meskipun perekonomiannya tidak lebih tinggi. Peningkatan konsumsi rumah tangga pada bulan Ramadhan dan menyambut hari raya Idul Fitri diakuinya menjadi faktor pendorong laju perekonomian.

“Pemerintah harus tetap menjaga laju inflasi memasuki puasa dan Lebaran agar daya beli masyarakat tetap stabil. Nanti di triwulan III dan IV mungkin lebih baik karena sudah ada presiden baru,” ujarnya.

Minus exports, Indonesia’s Economic Growth Continues to Decline

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Researchers from the Faculty of Economics of University of Gadjah Mada Susamto Akhmad Akbar declared Indonesia’s economic growth over the last years have always shown a downward trend. Peak, in the first quarter of 2014 and then, Indonesia’s economic growth just touched 5.21 percent.

“Economic growth from 2010 till now continues to decline. Trend of economic development the last 3 months compared to the same period the previous year down,” Akhmad said in Jakarta, Wednesday (28/05/2014).

Low economic growth, said Akhmad, due to record exports minus. The decline in government consumption did occur, but the impact is not significant.

On the same occasion, the Executive Director of the Center of Reform on Economist (CORE) Indonesia Saparini Hendri said, with the downward trend, the target achievement of 5.8 percent economic growth in 2014 will be difficult to achieve. In the first quarter of 2014 alone the Indonesian economy has been experiencing a slowdown.

Law on Mineral and Coal Mining (Mining Law) recognized Hendri make Indonesian exports declined.

“In the first quarter of 2014 we continued to slow the pace of the economy. Impact due to the enactment of the Mining Law so no longer exporting ore. Target 5.8 (per cent) it will be difficult,” said Hendri.

However, Hendri predict the second quarter of 2014 the rate of the economy will be better than before, even though its economy is not higher.
The increase in household consumption in the month of Ramadan and welcome Idul Fitri admitted into the drivers of the rate of the economy.

“The government should keep the inflation rate enters fasting and Eid so that purchasing power remains stable. Later in the third and fourth quarters may be better because there is a new president,” he said.
